Script Timer 2.7 Released - OS X 1.9 and 10.10 compatibility update

Script Timer 2.7, an OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) compatibility update, has been released.

1. This version provides compatibility with OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).

2. The logout item in the When popup menu in the Triggered Actions editing panel has been removed. Logout actions are no longer possible due to changes made by Apple in recent versions of OS X. (You can approximate a log out action by scheduling an action to run whenever a program you normally never quit, such as Mail, is quit. This will happen during the logging out process.)

3. Two new triggered actions have been added: user session activated, and user session resigned. These refer to entering and leaving your account through fast user switching.

4. The scheduling engine helper application STEventMonitor has been completely rewritten and the PMMonitor helper application has been eliminated. Its functionality is now incorporated into STEventMonitor.

Cosmetic Changes and Bug Fixes

1. End of idle actions should now work reliably.

2. The Auto Save preference is now correctly referred to as ‘auto save’ in the Files and Folders preference pane.
